The Finance Committee monitors all financial activities that are authorized by St. Mark’s Church Council in its efforts to enhance worship, education, evangelism and stewardship. As appropriate, the Committee makes recommendations to Council regarding any aspect of the Church’s financial health.
Important tasks/Goals are to facilitate the Annual Budget preparation process. We also make appropriate recommendations, if warranted, regarding potential changes to the current Operating Budget as a result of revised expectations regarding revenues. It is imperative for us to have continued relevant communication to the Church Council and church family.
