Our prayer for the Mission:
"Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in us the fire of your love."
In response to God’s call to be servants and ministers to all people, St Mark’s supports, financially and with volunteers, the following ministries in the Charlotte area:

Room In The Inn
Churches and schools provide shelter, food and conversation for homeless in their facilities from December – March.
When traveling, on vacation, and staying at a hotel or motel, bring
back the sample sizes you do not use, i.e. soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toiletries, razors, shaving cream, or whatever. These small sample sizes allow us to provide the necessities for a night’s stay. When your “home” often consists of a“carry-on size” piece of luggage, you don’t have much room for such items.
While shopping, if you see bargain priced sample sizes, please consider a purchase for the Room in the Inn. If you are at the dentist and are offered a toothbrush and or toothpaste sample, remember Room In The Inn.
A collection location will be established in September.
